Mark T. Stephan, MD, FACR

Dr. Mark Stephan, a Lafayette, LA native, is a graduate of USL and LSU Medical School at New Orleans.  He served his internship and Radiology Residency at The Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, serving as Chief Resident in 1985-1986.  Dr. Stephan subsequently trained as a Fellow in Interventional Radiology at University of Texas/M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.  He has been engaged in the private practice of radiology in the Greater Lafayette area for the past 22 years.  Dr. Stephan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and has been granted Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology, Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology, and is a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.  He is a board member of MedicineLouisiana and has served as Vice-President and President of the Radiological Society of Louisiana, a Chapter of the American College of Radiology.  Dr. Stephan has appeared in the Best Doctors in America Database since 1996 and Louisiana Life's Top Doctors database since 2006.

Allen D. Acomb III, MD

Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, Dr. Acomb gaduated from Jesuit High School in 1998.  He earned a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences from LSU in 2002 and completed an additional 33 hours of post-baccalaureate classes in biology in 2004.

Dr. Acomb earned his Medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2010, subsequently completing his internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital/Texas A&M in 2011 and 2015, respectively. Dr Acomb completed a pediatric radiology fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital in June of 2016.

He is a member of the Society of Pediatric Radiology.

Dr. Hoppe originally from Metairie, Louisiana moved to Lafayette after Hurricane Katrina. He received his bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech University in Biomedical Engineering and his M.D. from LSU in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology with a specialty in Neurointerventional Radiology. After his arrival to Lafayette he began working at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center where he then became a member of ARG.


Cheryl Randal, MD is Medical Director of Lourdes Breast Imaging Center and is a fellowship trained, board certified radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging. She earned her medical degree from University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. After several years of practicing diagnostic radiology, she completed a dual fellowship in Women’s and Breast Imaging at LSU Medical Center which focused on the detection of breast cancer utilizing state of the art technology. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology and a member of The American College of Radiology and Society of Breast Imaging. She returned to Lafayette, her hometown, to serve her community with her Specialty in Breast Imaging.



Joan C. Wojak, MD, FSIR

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Boyle earned his Medical Doctorate from Louisiana State University Health Science Center Shreveport in 2007, and completed his residency at Baptist Health Systems in Birmingham, Alabama in 2012.  After residency, Dr. Boyle returned to New Orleans to complete a Fellowship in Body and Musculoskeletal MRI from Ochsner Medical Center.  He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Kyle Degeyter, MD

A native of Lafayette, Dr. Billeaud earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2004.  He then completed a residency in nuclear medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, and a residency in radiology at the University of South Alabama.  Dr. Billeaud joined Acadiana Radiology Group in 2010, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.  He and his wife have two children. 


At Acadiana Radiology Group, LLC (ARG), our members maintain advanced training and experience in adult and pediatric diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal & body MRI and mammography.  Our goal is to provide the utmost quality in diagnostic imaging care and customer service.

Dr. Kyle Degeyter was born and raised in the Lafayette area. He attended college at UL Lafayette prior to Medical School at LSU Shreveport.  After receiving his MD, Dr. Degeyter returned to Lafayette where he completed a full Internal Medicine Residency under the LSUHSC network and then served as an attending for a year.  He was awarded the honors of Resident of the Year and Teaching Faculty of the Year.  He then went on to Tulane where he completed a Radiology Residency.  He served as Chief Resident during both residencies.  Upon completion of his general radiology training, Dr. Degeyter moved to Albany, New York where he did a fellowship in Interventional Radiology.  He returned home to Lafayette in 2018 joining the ARG group at Our Lady of Lourdes.     

Dr. Degeyter's passions are patient care, his children, and his wife Aimee.



Dr. Wojak was born and raised on Long Island, N.Y. She attended Princeton University, where she received her A.B. in Chemistry. She graduated from N.Y.U. School of Medicine. After a Surgery internship and Neurosurgery residency at N.Y.U., she completed her Radiology residency at L.S.U. School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1994 and a fellowship in Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology in 1996. She moved to Lafayette that year and has been working at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and St. Mary's Imaging Center since then. She is the current Medical Director of Radiology at Our Lady of Lourdes and Heart Hospital of Lafayette and is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at L.S.U. School of Medicine. Dr. Wojak is a Board Certified Radiologist since 1994. She has Subspecialty Certification in Neuroradiology, which she originally recieved in 1997; she completed her re-certification in 2007. She is a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and an Active Member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery and the Society of Interventional Radiology. She is the co-author of a textbook, the author of many papers and textbook chapters, and a frequent invited speaker at meetings around the country.

She is also a fellow of the American Heart Association Stroke Council.
